Privacy Policy

When you create an account or use the Service, we collect:

• Account info: name, email address, hashed password.
• Subscription info: billing plan, Stripe customer ID, payment status. We do not store credit card numbers — payments are processed directly by Stripe.
• Usage data: picks you make, games you pin or view, feature interactions, login timestamps.
• Device data: browser type, IP address, basic device characteristics, used for security and analytics.

• Operate the Service — authenticate you, save your picks, display your stats and leaderboard rank.
• Process subscription payments via Stripe.
• Send transactional emails (password resets, subscription confirmations, important account changes).
• Improve the Service — diagnose bugs, measure feature usage, identify performance issues.
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Stripe — to process payments and manage subscriptions. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
• Vercel — our hosting provider, which sees standard server logs.
• Neon — our database provider.
• Anthropic — when generating AI analysis, we send game data and news headlines to Anthropic's API. We do not send personal information.
• Authorities — if compelled by valid legal process.

PredictPlay aggregates publicly available odds, schedules, scores, and news from licensed sportsbooks and news publishers. We are not a sportsbook. We do not accept bets, hold funds, or pay out winnings. The gamified pick tracker on the Service is for entertainment only and has no monetary value.

We use cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in) and basic analytics. We may add a third-party analytics provider (e.g., PostHog) in the future to understand product usage in aggregate. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and delete your account, we delete your personal information within 90 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records).

You can:

• Access, update, or delete your account at any time from your profile.
• Export your pick history on request.
• Cancel your subscription anytime via the Subscription Manager link in your profile.
• Contact us with privacy requests at support@predictplay.ai.

California residents have additional rights under CCPA. EU residents have rights under GDPR. We honor all valid requests.

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.

We use industry-standard practices: HTTPS everywhere, hashed passwords (bcrypt), encrypted database connections, and secure session tokens. No system is perfectly secure, so use a unique strong password and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
